We recently visited this all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta and fell in love with pretty much everything about it! Here are five reasons why we thought it was the best all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta for families.
The Riu Palace Pacifico Resort has so much going for it that it’s easy to recommend!
1 This beautiful Mexican resort is located right on the beach
When it comes to Puerto Vallarta hotels on the beach, not all of them get two thumbs up. We did a lot of research looking for the perfect place to take our Mexico beach vacation. Some resorts weren’t even on the beach, even though they said they were.
We also found some that were situated in such a way the pool area didn’t get sunlight until around noon. Other resorts were on the beach, but only had a short strip of sand that could be walked in just a few minutes.
We love long, wide open beaches and the Riu Palace Pacifico has the perfect beach location! Not only could you play in the ocean right in front of the beach, you could walk a long ways in each direction. It definitely met our goal of finding a Puerto Vallarta resort on the beach. Just look at this gorgeous view!
2 It’s one of the cleanest beach resorts in Puerto Vallarta
In order to make it to the top of our list for best all inclusive resorts in Puerto Vallarta for families, the level of cleanliness had to be top notch. We read all the reviews we could find before we booked and we were not disappointed when we got there!
We could tell they put quite a bit of effort into making every inch of the resort as clean as possible. Not only did that include the rooms, but we were constantly seeing staff members cleaning and disinfecting any common areas, inside and out. We certainly appreciated that!
There was hand sanitizer available in the rooms, in the elevators and restaurants. Overall, we felt they did a great job keeping the resort clean and it times like this, that’s very important.
3 It’s a absolutely beautiful beach resort
Puerto Vallarta is beautiful and I’m sure there are other lovely, all inclusive resorts, but can I just say this place is gorgeous? From the moment stepped out of our Uber and walked into the lobby, we loved everything about the beautiful lobby, the landscaping, the architecture and of course the stunning layout of the pools.
4 It’s an all inclusive resort with plenty for families to choose from
One of the best things about vacationing in an all inclusive resort is knowing that everything is already paid for. At the Riu Palace Pacifico, this included all the food you can eat at any of its restaurants, all you can drink and gratuities. There’s literally nothing you need to pay for once you’re there! (With that said, we did tip servers and housekeeping. They do a fantastic job and deserve it for such good service.)
They had aqua aerobics, beach yoga, beach volleyball, and on-stage entertainment every evening. You seriously can’t get bored there. (Not gonna lie, we did a whole lot of lounging, soaking, eating and strolling, but the activities were there if we had wanted to join in.)
There are lots of things to do in Puerto Vallarta, but we never even left the resort during our stay!
5 It’s a great all inclusive resort for families of all ages
Some resorts I reviewed while planning just weren’t the right scene for us. They either seemed stuffy with little going on or too much of a party scene, which we’re really not into. The Riu Palace Pacifico had a great mix of young couples, young families, families with teenagers and retired aged people that gave it a very family friendly feeling.
That may not seem important, but since our goal was to find the best all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta for families, I think we hit the jackpot!
